****Mixed Billing****
From Monday 1st July 2024
We are moving to MIXED BILLING from Monday 1st July 2024 for all GP appointments all day, every day, phone and in-person appointments.
The increased cost of operating a practice and quality of care we offer is no longer sustainable based on bulk-billing.
We cannot Thank you enough for your ongoing support as we make this transition.
The following patients will continue to be bulk-billed with a valid Medicare Card:
- Under 16yo
- Pension/Health Care/Concession card holders
- DVA card holders
- Care plans/Health Assessments
- TAC/Workcover will continue to be billed directly to TAC/workcover
(all overseas students and visitors will need to pay on the day and claim the rebate back from their health insurance fund)

(the out-of pocket cost for appointments will be around $30)
Notice of cancellation is required at least 2 hours before the scheduled GP appointment. No show or late cancellation will attract a cancellation fee of $50. The cancellation fee is not Medicare rebatable. 24 hours notice required for care plan/health assessments and allied health appointments.
Flu vaccinations
- Influenza (flu) activity is increasing this flu season, and this is expected to continue in the coming weeks.
- 40 per cent of flu cases have occurred in children aged 6 months to 14 years.
- The flu is more likely to cause severe illness and complications in certain groups of people, including children aged less than 5 years, the elderly, pregnant women, and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
- Vaccination is key to protecting yourself, your friends, family and communities from the flu.
- It is never too late get vaccinated. The yearly flu vaccine is recommended for everyone aged 6 months and over and is free for high-risk groups.
